Luca FaloniLondonBroadgate

In the heart of London’s bustling Broadgate, the new Luca Faloni flagship store asserts a quiet yet powerful presence, continuing the brand’s spatial narrative of Italian craftsmanship transposed into the urban fabric of the UK.

This latest opening refines the architectural language established in previous London locations, orchestrating a sophisticated interplay of tactile materiality and luminous geometry in the hearth of the City.

The interior's true gravitational center is the staircase, a bold distinctive feature that acts as a chromatic hinge between levels. Here, the project introduces a a bold shift in materiality through the juxtaposition of the purity of White Carrara marble and the deep, aqueous tones of Green Onyx. This juxtaposition serves to define the volume of the ascent, creating a monolithic structure that feels less like a staircase and more like a geological excavation within the store.

The design concept is anchored by a rigorous approach to vertical surfaces. Moving beyond mere decoration, the wall tiling is utilized as a primary architectural device, defining sculptural curved volume that carve through the space. This tiled skin provides a rhythmic continuity, grounding the store's airy dimensions with a sense of permanence and texture reminiscent of the brand's sartorial attention to detail.

Above, the spatial experience is unified by a striking lighting installation. Rows of custom blown glass lamps are arranged in a precise grid, hovering beneath the industrial ceiling. This “flying carpet” of light not only lowers the optical scale of the room to a more human level but also casts a homogeneous, diffused glow that softens the architectural lines and highlights the garments on display.

The atmosphere warms significantly as one moves into the private zones. The fitting room area transitions into a hospitality-focused lounge, anchored by a bespoke corner bar.
