Dressing rooms of a quiet luxury Italian menswear brand

Luca Faloni London Piccadilly

Positioned at the nexus of heritage and commerce in London’s Piccadilly, the reimagined Luca Faloni store represents an evolution of the brand’s distinct design identity. The refurbishment acts not merely as an update but as a refinement of the established material palette, achieving a new depth of spatial dynamism while ensuring seamless brand continuity with its sister locations.

In a consistent application of the brand's aesthetic language, columns and the substantial cash desk are clad in a rich, textured ceramic, establishing a tactile anchor within the space. This material discipline creates a dialogue of surface contrasts, juxtaposed immediately with expansive panels of deep Canaletto walnut and strategically placed mirror sections.

The meticulous interplay between wood, reflection, and texture is a masterclass in spatial complexity, visually expanding the footprint while imbuing the store with an intrinsic warmth.

The ceiling plane is redefined by a striking lighting concept. Illumination is distributed through a precise grid that hosts a multitude of Foscarini Lumiere lamps. Each fitting is oriented along a different axis, breaking the monotony of a uniform installation. This kinetic array transforms the ceiling into a dynamic canopy of light, ensuring that the illumination is both abundant and uniquely articulated.

The bespoke metalwork ensures the product is flawlessly presented to the street while maintaining the clean sightlines and visual transparency that define the interior’s elegant aesthetic.

The store's relationship with its environment is carefully mediated by custom-designed exposition systems. These structures are specifically calibrated for the challenging, curved geometry of the bow windows that face Princess Arcade.

Completing the customer experience, an integrated bar area is seamlessly incorporated into the retail journey. This hospitality zone reinforces the notion of the store as a destination for quiet luxury and personalised service, inviting clients to pause and engage with the brand environment beyond the transactional.
